She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Her prior medical experience continues to enhance her clinical approach, allowing her to provide thorough, thoughtful, and patient-centered care.

Dr. Campbell is passionate about listening carefully to her patients and “putting the pieces of the puzzle together” to solve their vision and eye health concerns. She strongly believes every patient deserves compassionate, high-quality eye care and strives to create a comfortable, trusting experience at every visit.

Outside of the office, Dr. Campbell enjoys spending time with her husband, their two adult sons, and daughter-in-law. She values her faith, family, and friendships, and loves being outdoors gardening, hiking, and canoeing — though she jokes that her husband usually does most of the rowing.

She is happy to give back to her community by providing vision care to patients in need at the Optometry Clinic she founded within the Grace Clinic in Delaware. Dr. Campbell is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.

Her academic achievements earned her both the E. F. Wildermuth Foundation Scholarship and a National Eye Institute Predoctoral Research Fellowship. She conducted research on eye safety and had an abstract published for the Annual American Academy of Optometry Conference.  

In 2003, Dr. Jeffers completed a Residency in Ocular Disease at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she trained with a pediatric ophthalmologist, corneal specialist, refractive surgeon, glaucoma specialist, and neuro-ophthalmologist. Before joining Dr. Campbell’s practice, Dr. Jeffers spent over 17 years working in private practice in Springfield, OH. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.  

Dr. Jeffers is also dedicated to giving back to the community. As a presenter for the Ohio Optometric Association’s award-winning Realeyes program, she visits local schools to educate children about how the eyes work, the importance of eye safety, and common vision issues that affect kids. 

Outside of work, Dr. Jeffers loves spending time with her husband, two children, and her dog. Dr. Jeffers and her family are actively involved in their church and its community outreach programs. She also enjoys supporting her children, from helping with schoolwork to cheering them on in cross country, soccer, baseball, basketball, etc. Although her roots are in West Virginia and she will always be a proud Mountaineer, Dr. Jeffers is equally proud to call herself a Buckeye!
